AMIE
“AMIE (The Association of Meat Importers and Exporters of SA) has as its main objective the promotion and protection of the interests of its members,who represent the bulk of SA’s meat importers,as well as a large number of foreign exporters of meat products to SA..AMIE is committed to promoting ethical and lawful practices among all players within the meat industry,thus ensuring level playing fields in the market.”
Its main objectives are:
- To promote and protect the interests of members.
- To deal with all matters that may affect the common interest of members.
- To confer and interact with all bodies controlling and administering the meat industry in SA.
- To disseminate and distribute among its members information on all matters affecting the meat industry.
- To attempt to ensure that playing fields are level at all times by the promotion of ethical business practices amongst all members,and in the meat industry generally.
